Cohen & Steers is a leading global investment manager specializing in assets and alternative income. After a diligent real estate search and multiple site visits, TPG was engaged to reimagine their workspace at 1166 Avenue of the Americas into a collaborative setting that attracts and retains talent.

Our team transitioned their traditional work environment to one that encouraged progressive ideas while still retaining a classic and elegant charm. The TPG team worked with a group of stakeholders on an executive committee to align on strategy and a shared vision for the project. Through visioning sessions and design presentations, we fostered collective decision-making. This proved to be the cornerstone of the project's success, as it allowed us to harness their knowledge and expertise to cater our design to their needs.

An interconnecting stair spans four floors, serving as a physical bridge between departments and fostering a sense of unity among staff. We also introduced collaborative stations in the corners of each floor. These areas feature high-top work surfaces equipped with robust infrastructure to accommodate audiovisual and connectivity needs. By balancing traditional values with interactive spaces, the new workplace blends Cohen & Steers' innovative spirit with their respected heritage.
