TPG helped international advertising and communications Havas Worldwide for more than two years to identify an appropriate space in Manhattan into which the industry leader could move its creative and media staff. The client ultimately selected seven floors at 200 Hudson Street, bringing together over 1,100 staff from Havas Worldwide and other agency groups.
Havas Worldwide adopted a 100% open plan with benched workstations supported by a variety of informal meeting areas. In addition to office areas and meeting areas, the new space features an in-house, world-class video production facility, an innovation laboratory, screening room, multipurpose presentation room, and multiple cafés and lounges. A feature stair connects all floors to each other, and to the cafe, and provides unobstructed views both horizontally and vertically.
Although Havas is a French corporation, the agency was established in NYC. The office design is inspired by the city’s energy and wealth of dynamic contrasts, honoring the client’s gritty New York City roots by leveraging the building’s industrial origins and exposing its structural features. Our design seamlessly integrates Havas Worldwide’s branding, program, and wish-list with a progressive workplace that reflects the firm’s forward-thinking philosophy.
