In order to help landlords and building owners better market their space, our firm is often tasked with designing prebuilt spaces. These spaces serve as sample floors to help attract potential tenants. After working with Time Inc. and the Brooklyn Nets, TPG was engaged by Industry City to help design various marketing and prebuilt office spaces for their creative workplace clientele.
Industry City is an innovation ecosystem that serves to benefit its tenants and the wider Brooklyn community. The creative hub, comprised of 35 acres, is located on the waterfront in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, encompassing over 6 million square feet of leasable creative mixed-use space. The space is currently home to technology, advertising, media, content creation, and information services companies, and the prebuilt space is intended to attract similar clients to the area. The offices, ranging from 2,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet, feature oversized windows, open ceilings, a gracious reception, various large and small meeting rooms, modern restrooms, and open pantries. The flexible floor plates are flooded with ample daylight and provide stunning views of Manhattan.
