TPG has been working with Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) on multiple locations in and around the Greater New York City Area. TPG worked on this Uniondale location nearly a decade ago; the scope of work was a medical office on the first floor.

This new expansion project aims to support the greater healthcare need on Long Island. The new diagnostic and treatment facility is located on the north side of the first floor. Phase 1 includes 18,000 square feet of medical office space with 27 exams rooms and 3 treatment rooms supporting 7 doctors. The exam rooms are clustered in pods with nurse stations dedicated to each grouping.

Phase 2 consists of a retrofit of the original south side of the floor, approximately 15,000 square feet. This area includes a second MRI, physical therapy practice, and a few examination rooms clustered in pods with nurse stations dedicated to each grouping.

Overall, the new look and feel of the space is characterized by a bright, clean, and welcoming design. A neutral wood palette with shades of blue adds character to the facility.
