Since 1947, Ferrari has been a symbol of Italian excellence, power, and exclusivity in the world of high performance luxury sports cars, both on the track and on the road. The iconic cars are produced in Maranello, Italy, and sold in over 60 markets worldwide. In 2004, Ferrari opened a corporate showroom space on the corner of Park Avenue and 55th Street to showcase their vehicles. In 2018, Ferrari decided to expand to the neighboring space to house the Ferrari Tailor Made Program – allowing select customers to personalize their car to create a one-of-a-kind vehicle that reflects their personality and tastes.

Working as the local architect for this project, TPG coordinated with the Italian design team to help bring the project to fruition. The design reflects the high quality of craftsmanship the cars are known for. The space is large enough to showcase five of the brand’s cars, which further presents customers with the endless possibilities of what the Tailor Made Program can achieve. The Tailor Made center is the focal point of the space as a dedicated area that looks and feels like a haute couture studio. Along the walls are an array of materials, treatments, and colors that clients can browse from when personalizing their own Ferrari. Finishes throughout the space including red lacquered glass and custom millwork are imported from Italy to further bring the refined, racing feel of the brand to life.
