JLL is a world leader in real estate services, managing over four billion square feet in property worldwide. The firm’s New York headquarters are located at 330 Madison Avenue, right in the midst of bustling Midtown. Knowing that JLL needed to expand their offices to accommodate for growing needs, the firm enlisted TPG Architecture to lead a substantial renovation in place project. Subsequently, TPG provided strategy and architectural services to bring their aspirations for the space to fruition.
TPG’s Strategy Studio conducted engagement sessions with JLL to understand their vision for the future office. Ideas such as corporate atmosphere, global presence, pride, and tradition came to the forefront. Additionally, JLL wanted their new space to reflect the firm’s success, brand, and culture. Most importantly, the new workplace should also set the example for what all of their clients can achieve, regardless of their industry.
The 5th floor serves as the main reception and sets the tone for a modern, sleek atmosphere. Around the central stair, the design team incorporated innovative spaces and cutting-edge technology to support different agile, functional, and flexible work settings. Elements of biophilia and subtle nods to the JLL red brand color are found throughout. Staff also have access to a tech lab, board/training room, café, and other amenities. Additionally, this project is expected to reach WELL and LEED certification.
