Magis Puppy Design Challenge

We’re excited to introduce Echo the Jack Rustle Terrier; TPG’s final design for the annual Magis Puppy Design Challenge with MillerKnoll and Creative Office Resources! Taking inspiration from the Soundsuits of American artist Nick Cave, these traditional African costumes typically conceal the whole body and obscure any details about the person wearing them. These design elements camouflage the wearer’s shape, race, gender, etc., thus leaving the viewer without judgement.

Echo’s Soundsuit is made from ra?a, crocheted granny squares, wire, spandex, and vintage noise-makers. These everyday objects are used to construct an atmosphere of familiarity with the rearrangement of the items into understandable representations of both material and social culture.
