Inc. and Fast Company is a media brand, focused on showcasing leading progressive content for technology and world-changing ideas. Their headquarters was relocated into a LEED-Gold building and designed to emphasize increased collaboration among media brands.
The reception opens directly into the café, drawing clients and guests into the energy of the office. The layout takes full advantage of the column-free, open structure to create numerous flexible meeting spaces and open work areas in a variety of configurations, including benching and turrets. Equal-sized perimeter offices eliminate company hierarchy, with corner spaces serving as conference rooms and breakout spaces. The perimeter offices are all glass-fronted with sliding doors to maximize the abundance of natural light and to optimize the view of lower Manhattan.
