Celebrating our Talented Employees

TPG's Creative Showcase presents the Summer Music Festival! The Creative Showcase series celebrates the outside hobbies, passions and talents of TPG staff with a one-night event. We have seen a multitude of skills in the past including painters, photographers, florists, and even a cartoonist! For this showcase held on June 13th, three different musical acts took center stage.

The show opened with the Valerie Farber Trio, a Brooklyn-based jazz vocalist, who appears regularly in clubs and private engagements throughout the East Coast. The Trio includes Valerie Farber on vocals, Michael Bates on bass, and Cat Toren on keys. Miguel Saucedo, A Mexican-American tenor who specializes in opera, followed the first act. His major roles during undergrad were Monostatos from Die Zauberflote, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, and Rodolfo in the Opera Scenes production of La Boheme.

Chase Hodge and the University Glee Club finished the show with four wonderful songs. The University Glee Club, established in 1894, is an all-male singing group that encourages male voice singing of the highest excellence. The club preforms different genres of music including traditional choral, Broadway show tunes, contemporary sounds, spirituals, and collegiate songs. We are extremely proud of our talented staff and the variety of skills they have.
