We Hosted The Girl Scouts for Two Career Days
Twice in 2012, TPG participated in Girl Scouts of Greater New York's Career Exploration Program for middle school girls. Most recently, on Thursday, November 29th, a group of 20 sixth grade girls from Albert Einstein I.S. 131 Middle School, members of Troop 6975, visited TPG's headquarters at 360 Park Avenue South. The girls also toured Digitas' TPG-designed office and conference center. Click here for a recap of our amazing afternoon together.
  We Seized Opportunities to Volunteer
In early 2012, Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) became a client of TPG. Associate Principal Ed Krois had the opportunity to volunteer at CGI's Annual Meeting Designing for Impact in 2012, through his daughter Holly Krois, Event Operations Coordinator at CGI. As an usher, Ed spent the day showing political figures and celebrities from all over the world to their seats. Click here for a video of Ed discussing his experience.

We Shared Our Experience With Students
Senior Associate Bette Samuel, visited her Alma mater Syracuse University twice in 2012 to meet with Juniors from the Interior Design program. During her visits, she offered students insight into her career path and presented some of TPG's latest work. In addition, students were given the opportunity to sit down with Bette one on one to discuss some of their current design projects. Bette received great feedback on our Facebook page.

We Created a Sustainable Quilt for IIDA
A dedicated team at TPG spent the past nine months working on a quilt for IIDA's 2012 Sustainable Quilt project. The finished product - a Double Snuggle quilt for two - was inspired by the idea of quilting as a shared experience. The layout features two hearts - one facing 'out' and one facing 'in' towards the users. The Double Snuggle was auctioned off at IIDA's Sustainable Quilt Auction on Wednesday, February 13th for $700.
