The dynamic New York City-based law firm Olshan Frome Wolosky, engaged TPG to design a progressive new office space on the 15th and 16th floors at 1325 Avenue of the Americas in New York City. The client was excited about creating a new law firm office model that they described as “efficient, innovative, and collegial,” and reflected their spirit of creativity and collaboration. They also needed flexibility to accommodate future headcount growth within a reduced office footprint.
TPG’s design marries clean lines and subtle detailing throughout its two floors in order to establish a bold and forward-thinking new image for the firm. Perimeter offices are glass-fronted to allow natural light into the space, enlivening the two-story reception area and conference center. An interconnecting stair at reception unifies the two floors and provides space for spontaneous and casual interaction.
By adopting a universal office size solution for all attorneys, reducing the library footprint, and providing flexible common spaces, TPG was able to help the client meet future growth and space requirements while establishing a new progressive identity.
